Second District Brewing Co. is a local, craft brewpub with a 1950's sensibility, led by a world-class experimental brewer, Ben Potts.

Second District Brewing Co. is named after the Second District of the Philadelphia City Council. (See, for more information, here.)

RSVPs are not needed for this event. Feel free to let us know informally, though, if you plan on attending (same-day texts are fine!).

Transportation & Parking

Second District Brewing Co. is located at 1939 S. Bancroft Street in South Philadelphia (half a block away from Miss Rachel's Pantry). Bancroft is also a narrow, cute, and partially-residential block that runs between 16th and 17th Streets, and McKean St. and Mifflin St. Driving, SEPTA, taxi and carshares all work great for transportation!

Driving & Parking

See Google Map directions here. In the vicinity, there is limited street parking and parking is free. See Parkadelphia, here, for nearby blocks that require residential permits or that are metered.

If you have any trouble parking, there is a lot on McKean St., between Broad St. & 15th St., attached to the Constitution Health Plaza. The cost should be about $7 after 6 pm.

Public Transportation

Second District Brewing Co. is accessible via SEPTA's Broad Street Line and buses that run southbound on 15th and 17th Streets from Center City.

At the present time, Second District Brewing Co. is following the COVID-19 related policies of the City of Philadelphia for restaurants and outdoor-dining spaces. We are not aware of any special considerations, and as with the COVID-19 information shown on our ceremony page, we encourage guests to do whatever necessary for their own comfort.
